Hello!Lucky bespoke invitations for Forever & Ever Bride

I know I go on and on about Hello!Lucky, but they just keep churning out the most creative work for my clients, so naturally I have to gush. Recently for a Forever & Ever bride, they did  not disappoint – far from it, they created such a flippin’ bang with these babies that I just had to grab the camera and take pictures of them!

All bespoke letterpress, yo.  Oh, and the main invitation was printed on vintage handkerchiefs!

One of the letterpress inserts:

There was also a balloon in the mix…

Wedding stationery is all about setting the theme and tone for the big day.  Make a statement to your guests with your invitations – it will get them so excited for the weekend (and motivate them to make those hotel and travel reservations!).

I think now you see why Forever & Ever goes so ga-ga whenever Hello!Lucky is involved in a wedding, right? :)

Want to see more of Hello!Lucky?? – check them out on Altar-ed’s website!  And, get your paws on their digital stationery at the Vintage Bridal Tea Party on April 10th!  RSVP today to engaged@altar-ed.com!!!

You are cordially invited to a VINTAGE BRIDAL TEA PARTY!

This is going to be the sickest, the raddest, the funnest, the girliest.

Calling all Brides + your ladies in waiting!  It’s time to get dolled up in your vintage finest and come get glammed up, vintage style.

Hosted by myself and OMG I’m Getting Married.  Want to GET ALTAR-ED?  Yeah you do.  Go here and read up on the party + ticket info.

OMG! Forever & Ever on OMG! (part deux)

Here it is: Part Deux of the series that OMG asked me to write: OMG Asks Why Hire a Wedding Planner with Mary Lee Herrington.

In this second part of the two-part series as guest blogger, I tackle more discreet questions that many brides in the UK have asked.  Things like: the benefit of having a planner on the ground when you’re based abroad; seeking a recommended supplier list; seeking to emulate one of those oh-so-pretty DIY weddings on Ruffled but not having an artsy bone in your body; etc etc.

If you want to check out the first part of the series, click here.  Alexis gushes about me so much in that introduction, you really must read it! ;-)  Any time I feel the blues, I am heading straight to that introduction.

Hope it was helpful to OMG‘s lovely brides-to-be!  It is always fun to write for that cutie-patootie Alexis. :)

One of the perks of the job

… is receiving surprise packages with loads of fun + pretty goodness inside!

And here’s what was inside:

The sender was the lovely Coquette Paper & Press, who not only is the talented stationer behind the above creations but is also a make-up + hair artist and a blogger.  Seriously, the woman is a jack of all trades!  As for her stationery, each piece is digitally printed on wonderful cotton card stock.  I absolutely love that she sources the best quality cotton paper – when it comes to stationery, it’s all about its tactile quality!  Thanks for the care package, Lady Kate! x

OMG! Forever & Ever on OMG!

I love it when wedding bloggers ask me to be a guest blogger and help impart some wedding tips to their readers.  So of course when my girl Alexis at OMG I’m Getting Married asked me to write a 2-part series on the work of wedding planners, I was extremely chuffed.

But then – I had NO IDEA that she would write such a GLOWING introduction about me!  OMG, SO SWEET! :) There is nothing like sipping a morning coffee and starting your day by reading a glowing account of you and your work!  Then the sun rose up in the London skies and I just thought – OMG – OMG has done and gone and started the most perfect day.

All the cute graphics were created by Alexis and that fun little photo of me hitting the London pavement (with Sammy poking his head out of his carry bag) was taken by Chloe at Caught the Light.

So this is the first part of the 2-part series on “OMG Asks: Why Hire a Wedding Planner“.  Hope it is helpful to the OMG Brides out there!  Tune in for the second part of the series next week.
