Such an honor!

Such a mature 3-year-old!!

Now that he is 3 years old, Forever Dog must dress the part. He now insists on arriving at the office in his new “uniform” of tweed bow tie and/or necktie. I now refer to him as Professor Sammy! – not just because of his new uniform, but also because he loves to lecture us on the complex varieties of raw hide bones and the new morkie interpretation of White Fang, among other extremely erudite topics.

To celebrate his birthday and to show him how much we appreciate his role as Forever & Ever mascot (which, incidentally, he takes VERY seriously – wait until you see his role in our newly revamped Gallery pages, launching very soon!), we booked him in for a relaxing day at Harrods Pet Spa!! Among the many relaxation treatments that day, Forever Dog got a full therapy bath, blow-dry, head and paw massage. As you can see, it felt pretty good…

Here he is below getting his oatmeal bath and massage – don’t you love how he looks so happy all the time?! That Forever Dog!!

After the bath, it was time for a relaxing head and ear massage. I’m pretty sure the perfect word to describe his reaction is “bliss.”

And to show their own appreciation for Forever Dog, Harrods gave him a “Happy Barkday” pupcake!

Ever since we at Forever & Ever upgraded our iPads and iPhones, Forever Dog has been pining for a gadget of his very own. Recognizing his stellar work and dedication as Forever & Ever mascot, there was no question in our minds that he deserved a bonus. It just so happened that his annual review came up around his birthday, so we decided to surprise him with his new iPawd after his pampering day at Harrods.

He loves his new gadget so much, he sleeps with it in his bed.

Let’s hear it for the birthday pup, Forever Dog! Hip hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!!!

A sister puppy for Forever Dog, Samson!!! I have named her Dorothy Zbornak, a name you may recall from this most illustrious lady. And even in this tiny little package, let me just say that she is just as spirited as her namesake!

And of course I cannot blog about my birthday without including my top dog, the little soul who is actually a little boy in a dog costume… Forever Dog!

We now refer to our house as a little zoo! It is constant comedy around here seeing our cat Howie and Sammy wondering why a tiny fur ball is gnawing on their legs and chasing their tails. No doubt there will be plenty of stories for me to share with you all here as time goes on!

So you can imagine how thrilled and excited I am that my good friend Kate (& partner-in-crime at Reverie) just launched her new website for Coquette Paper & Press! The site is so cute! Check it out!

I also love that she is offering collections that you can simply order off the website – my personal favorite is the “Jennifer” range. (Although, don’t you think she should start a collection called the “Samson” with a little cute depiction of Forever Dog?!? – complete with his “signature,” i.e., paw?!?)

I have to say, though, that if you have the budget that can stretch, you should really go with a bespoke design (which Coquette also offers – as you can see below). Having Coquette design a custom invitation suite for you means that no one else will ever have the same wedding stationery. I mean, don’t you hate it when you buy yourself something amazing, like a rockin’ dress, only to see someone else wearing it? – same thing, in my book!

I’m so excited that Coquette have launched such a cute new website and that UK brides and couples can order really beautiful stationery so easily now. I also couldn’t recommend Kate’s work more highly. And neither can Forever Dog, seen here with Kate not too long ago!

Hmm, he does look slightly alarmed, doesn’t he? Clearly this thought is running through his mind: “Um, where is my Mommy? I am unsure about this situation. I cannot lie because I am a puppy.”
